Established in 1973, St. Andrews Society – Vermont is a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization. SAS-VT’s purpose is to celebrate and share our Scottish heritage and culture with all who have an interest, to sponsor and promote traditional Scottish activities, and to connect with other like-minded Scottish organizations nationwide.

Crafted by Constantine Costi, this warm and entertaining documentary captures the eccentric local villagers who orchestrate the annual event set a Scottish Highland village. Competitors gather for the World Porridge Championships’ final year under Charlie Miller’s leadership, celebrating tradition and community through the art of perfect porridge-making.

Enjoy a fun-filled day of Scottish competition, clans, vendors, food, and entertainment. Throughout the day see events such as piping, athletics, Highland dancing, lectures, live music, sheep dog trials, and the parade of clans.

September 18-20, 2026 - All Day

Loon Mtn, Lincoln VT

Held annually on the third Friday, Saturday and Sunday in September at Loon Mountain Resort in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, the NH Highland Games are one of the largest and most diverse Scottish events in North America.

The games feature top Scottish bands, classic Highlander cuisine, whiskey and beer tastings, Scottish heavy athletics, sheepdog trials, youth programs, competitions for Highland dance, piping and drumming, pipe bands, fiddle and harp, and more.

April 18, 2026 - 6-11PM

Indian Ridge Country Club, Andover MA

Enjoy a  3-course dinner and an evening featuring live music and entertainment from some of the top local Scottish artists. Renowned harpist, Rhiannon Skye starts the evening off, followed by highland dancers from Stiles School of Dance, and a ceilidh with dancing and fun featuring Susie Petrov and her Parcel of Rogues band!  Formal Scottish dresswear is highly encouraged.
